NOTES FROM FR. TIM
1) We offer our sympathies and prayers to the family of Albertina Gagnon (nee Turner) who died last week and was buried in the Chapeau cemetery. We also offer our condolences to Raymond Vaillancourt and Stephanie Morris who’s infant son (Morris Vaillancourt) was born prematurely and died this past week after only a few hours of life. Please remember to keep these good folks in your prayers throughout the coming weeks.

2) Bible Study: Our Bible Study class meets this Thursday at 7 pm at the parish rectory in St. Joseph’s.

3) Your new collection envelopes will be distributed in the churches next weekend.

4) Have you checked out our parish blog yet? It’s located at  https://uppontiacparishes.wordpress.com

5) Would you be willing to assist as a sacristan in St.Joseph’s Church? I really need the help! It would involve such minor duties as the washing and ironing of the linens used during mass and ensuring that there are sufficient votive candles put out in the candle stand for each weekend mass. This would be a great way to build up your hours for the ’40 Hours for the Kingdom’ campaign!!

6) Congratulations to the nine students who were confirmed by +Mulhall this past Thursday evening. Thanks as well to those who sang in the choir and the St. Joseph’s CWL for the reception that followed.

7) There will be no more ash burials take place until the spring.
