Loving father of Karie (Joey Sullivan), Corey (Olivia Boudens) and Tyler. Cherished grandfather of Owen and Ella Sullivan. Predeceased by his parents Harvey Emile Bissonnette and Yvonne Marie Audette. Dear brother of Victor (Sheila), Waltham, QC, Daniel (Laurina Gagnon), Pembroke, ON, Ronald (Sylvia Cuartes Botero), Chambly, QC, Theresa (late James Godin), Pembroke, ON, Edna Stevens (Shawn White) and Marcel (Maria), Ottawa, ON. He will be missed by brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy Gagnon, Chichester, QC, Larry Gagnon (Betty Romain), Chapeau, QC, Earl (Mary Lynn), Chichester, QC, Neil (Shelley), Renfrew, ON and predeceased by Sheila (Terry Godin), Petawawa, ON. Maurice was a well-known local artist whose works include the Stations of the Cross in St. Alphonsus Church and the Millennium Coin for the Canadian Mint. He had a great passion for art and shared his gifts with others through his teaching. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau, Quebec on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau, Quebec on Wednesday, September 28 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Ottawa Civic Heart Institute or St. Alphonsus Church would be appreciated.
