NOTES FROM FR. TIM
1) We welcome Fr. Denis Lemieux among us this week. He is our Parish Mission preacher. He will be speaking Sunday through to Wednesday evenings at 7 pm in the Chapeau church. I sincerely hope that everyone realizes that this mission is intended for the parishioners of all three parishes and that people will be willing to come to Chapeau to take part in this mission. Let’s make this a successful event for all of our communities.

2) We will once again have our 1st Friday Holy Hour on Friday February 6th, beginning with the 10 am mass in St. Joseph’s and ending with Benediction at 11:45 am. Confessions will be heard in the Church throughout the period of Eucharistic Adoration.

3) We received one 40 Hrs for the Kingdom voucher this week where a family has prayed a rosary together 6 times for the intentions of the parish as well as one hour of volunteer work in the community. Thank you. Please remember to submit your vouchers as well so that we can share what you’ve done to help make the Kingdom of God present in these parts too!

4) The next Bible Study class will be held on Thursday February 5th at 1:30 pm in the parish rectory in St. Joseph.

5) Please don’t forget to pray for the sick of our parish every day! We have a couple who are gravely ill at this time as well as others who are in the midst of the treatments to battle cancer. Every prayer, long or short, silent or spoken aloud will be heard by God and greatly appreciated by the sick and their families.
