|Notes from Fr: Tim|
|1) With the start of the new school year we resume our regular mass schedule. Weekday masses will continue as last year: Tuesday/Wednesday in Chapeau and Thursday/Friday in St. Joseph’s at 10 am.
2) Bible Study group will resume on Thursday September 10 at 7 pm at the Parish Rectory in St. Joseph’s.
3) The Parish Suppers in Chapeau and St. Joseph’s are racing towards us on the calendar and these are VERY IMPORTANT revenue sources for both churches. PLEASE make the effort to take and sell the draw tickets for each and commit to helping out as a volunteer in the preparation and execution of the meals.
4) Speaking of revenue, it’s time for the Parish Finance Committee to meet to review our finances as we hit the 3/4 mark of the fiscal year. The meeting will be held on Wednesday September 27 at 7 pm. in the parish office. We will send members the bank statements, cheque logs, and the meeting agenda electronically prior to the meeting. We ask committee members to send an email to Pauline (email@example.com) so that we can ensure we have your correct email address.
5. We ask all parishioners to please keep the sick of our parish in your prayers. Please let me know if there is someone who would want to receive communion each week as we now have lay ministers who can bring it to them.
