|Notes from Fr: Tim|
|1) Our TV’s bring us horrible images of the human tragedy facing the refugees fleeing war in the Middle East. Do you think there is a way that our three churches can respond to Pope Francis’ call for each parish to adopt one family? Please give this thought some prayer this week and ask God to offer guidance and inspiration to us all.
2) The start of the school year means it’s once again time to rev-up our catechism program to begin in October. To this end, there will be a meeting in the Chapeau sacristy on Wednesday, September 16th at 7 pm for those willing to help teach the program. If you cannot attend this meeting, please call the parish office to give us your name and contact information.
3) Our bible study group continues on Thursday evenings at 7 pm in St. Joseph’s Rectory. New members are always welcome.
4) Our Chapeau Parish Supper is fast approaching. Please call the parish office and let Pauline know if you’re willing to volunteer with the many tasks that need to be done. Your assistance is as always GREATLY appreciated. We may need to have a brief meeting before the end of the month so please watch for any announcement in future bulletins.
