Notes from Fr: Tim
1) The 2016 St. Joseph’s Missals have arrived and are now on sale in each church. They cost $5.00 per copy and make great and inexpensive stocking stuffers for those kids you’re trying to nudge back to church!!

2) We are fast moving towards Dec. 5th with Bishop Mulhall will be celebrating the sacrament of confirmation at our Saturday evening mass in Sheenboro. I remind all the candidates that we will be having a rehearsal at 10 am in the Sheen church.

3) Our sympathy and prayers go out to the family of Hilaire Chartrand who died on Monday. At his request, there will be no funeral service or wake. We also ask your prayers for the soul of Noella Chaput whose funeral was celebrated in Chapeau on Tuesday. My thanks to Fr. Michael Smith who filled in for me as battled a chest cold all week.

4) The Diocese of Pembroke has partnered with the Toronto Archdiocese in helping to settle refugees into our area. As a Quebec parish, we do not immediately qualify to take any families as immigration is a provincial jurisdiction here. However, parishioners can contribute financially by donating to ‘Project Hope’, the coordinating organization of the Archdiocese responsible for this program or to the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (

5) The Mass Attendance Sheets for the children in the Catechism program are available at the doors of the Church. Please remember that attending mass is required for the reception of the sacraments.
