Sharon Nora Sullivan: July 7, 1935 – March 1, 2016.  Born at 1 ½ pounds to Tommy and Clare Sullivan on July 7, 1935 Sharon made up for her size in spirit every day for 80 full years. She brought light and joy to her beloved family and friends including her children Carolyn, Kathleen, Jacques and the late Marc Meilleur. She was a very proud Grandmother to Philippe and Michèle Gervais and Melissa and Ali Melia, whom she called the jewels of her life. Sharon brought a love of colour and style to her store La Cliquette and touched the lives of many through her role at the Ministry of Community and Social Services. She often reminisced on the life lessons both experiences offered. A talented painter, Sharon’s perspective on the world will remain through her art. On March 1, 2016, Sharon Sullivan passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital surrounded by love from her family and friends. She stayed true to her spirit until her last breaths. Among other beloved family members, Sharon joins her dear sister Didi, son Marc and parents Tommy and Clare in heaven. A celebration of life will be held in Chapeau, Quebec, the home of “Sharon’s Shack in the Pontiac” on July 2, 2016. – See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/ottawacitizen/obituary.aspx?n=sharon-nora-sullivan&pid=177926811#sthash.WCaxpCtR.dpuf
