A poem for those who grieve:  ‘Missing You Always’ (anonymous)

You never said ‘I’m leaving’, you never said ‘Goodbye’.

You were Gone before we knew it, and only God knows why.

In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.

In my heart I hold a place that only you can fill.

It broke my heart to lose you but you didn’t go alone.

A part of me went with you the day God took you home.

Notes from Fr. Tim
1) Who knew this Wednesday was going to be so busy! Since there are a number of other events scheduled in town, the Chapeau CWL have reduced the time of Prayer for Palliative Care to 9:30 until 11 am. Mass will be celebrated at its usual time (10 am.) followed by benediction. Please make the effort to attend and add your prayers to this important cause.

2) Speaking of prayers, did you know that Bishop Fulton Sheen once wrote a prayer for the unborn? It’s a good one! Here it is: ‘Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I will spiritually adopt who is in danger of abortion.’

3) Bible study continues on Thursday evenings at 9 am.

4) Our sympathy and prayers to the families of Bernard Conroy and Eileen Brunette who’s funerals were celebrated in Chapeau this week. Please remember them in your prayers.
