Notes from Fr. Tim
1) Thank you to everyone who has sent me get well cards, enrolled me in mass novenas, and offered me prayers and best wishes for a full recovery. I believe that I am well on the way to getting solidly on my feet and look forward to getting back to work as soon as possible.

2) The Municipality of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes is undertaking a survey of seniors needs and desires. You will find copies of the survey at the entrances to St. Alphonsus and St. Joseph’s churches. You can also pick one up at the Municipal office. I strongly encourage all seniors to complete and submit this questionnaire so that the municipality will best be able to spend its tax dollars on services that meet the needs of our community.

3) We are finally moving ahead with the new side entrance project in Chapeau. Tenders have gone out to all the local general contractors as well as some from the city. We should know by the end of this month who has won the contract so that work can begin as soon as possible.

4) Congratulations to the parishioners in Sheenboro for putting on another successful Canada Day festival!
