| Notes from Fr. Tim |
| 1) Our prayers and condolences to the family of Thérèse Allard, wife of Florian Allard of Chapeau. She is being waked at Hayes Funeral Chapel on Sunday afternoon and evening. Her funeral will be celebrated in St. Alphonsus Church at 11:30 am on Monday. Please keep the family in your prayers.
2) Our thanks to the parents whose children are taking part in the Christmas pageant(s?). Given the business of the holiday season, we appreciate you taking the time to bring them to their practices. 3) We have a number of parishioners in hospitals at this time. We ask that you pray for all of them but in a particular way for Pauline’s little granddaughter Ashton who was admitted to the Gatineau Hospital on Thursday. 4) Bible Study will resume on the first Thursday of January at the St. Joseph’s rectory. 5) Please pray for the repose of the soul of Noelle Kennedy, wife of Al Kennedy from Chapeau. Her funeral was celebrated in Holy Name Church this week as she was a teacher at Holy Name School for many years. Our sympathies to her family. |
