Notes from Fr. Tim |
1) Our sympathy and prayers go out the families of Sharon Sullivan and Jeannine Roy, both of Chapeau who passed away this week. May God bring comfort to them as they grieve the loss of their family members.
2) Congratulations to all the children who make their First Confession and First Communion this weekend. And let us all offer a prayer of thanksgiving for their catechists and teachers who helped to prepare them for these important milestones in their life as Catholics. We welcome as well those children from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Waltham who are joining us again this year. May God pour out his blessings upon all the students and their families. 3) Bible Study will be held this Thursday evening at 7 pm. This will be our 2nd last meeting before we break for the summer. 4) Thank you to the Knights of Columbus Council 1531 for their generous donation in aid of repairing our bell tower in St. Joseph’s. This is but one small example of the good that the Knights do to aid and foster the faith in our diocese. If you are a man in the parishes who has not joined this important Catholic organization, why not take some time to consider becoming a member? |
