Notes from Fr. Tim
1) Bishop Mulhall has announced that Fr. Basil Tanguay and Fr. Brady McNamara will both be starting their retirement within the next week or two. Please offer up prayers of appreciation and thanksgiving for their many years of service as well as asking they be granted the grace of a long and happy retirement.

2) Congratulations to Harold Christopher Vaillancourt who was baptized into our Catholic faith this past Sunday. May he be a source of pride and joy for both his family and the community much as his namesake (Dr. Harold Keon) was to all the folks on the Island in years past.

3) The funeral for Loretta Durocher-Reid was celebrated in St. Joseph’s this past week. This was announced in my comments last week… but I spelled her name incorrectly! My apologies to her and her family for my faux pas.

4) Chelsea Smith (summer parishioner in St. Joseph’s) and Brian Begrowicz were united in the sacrament of marriage last Saturday. ‘Ad multos annos’ to the happy couple.
