Notes from Fr. Tim |
1) THANK YOU!!! I’ve got to start this week with a HUGE thank you to everyone who made our Chapeau Parish Supper such a huge success. Special thanks have to go to Pauline Lepine and her crew who prepared and cooked all the food, to everyone who helped to serve it, and to the long list of people who did everything from set-up, clean-up, and taking down the arena. Every volunteer did their bit to make the event another success and I am deeply appreciative of everyone’s efforts. Thank you, one and all!
2) This week we begin our video series ‘Catholicism’ in the Chapeau church following the Wednesday morning mass. 3) Bible Study classes continue on Thursday evenings at 7 pm in the St. Joseph’s sacristy. New members are always welcome, especially now that we have the space to accommodate you!! 4) Congratulations to Emma Romain and Aime Allard who were wed in the Chapeau church last weekend. Please pray that they may be graced with many happy and grace-filled years together. 5) This weekend marks the start of the annual hunt. Remember to say a prayer for the safety of all the hunters! 6) Happy Thanksgiving one and all! Remember, if life has got you down these days at least you be thankful you weren’t born a turkey or a moose. 🙂 |
