Notes from Fr. Tim |
1) Our sympathy goes out to the family of Lillian Smiley who passed away this week. It is difficult at the best of times to with deal with the death of a parent, but it’s even more so when it comes during a festive season. Please keep her family in your prayers.
2) I am sad to announce too the death of Michael Nadeau, son of the late Acey and Mary Nadeau of Chapeau at the young age of 56. His funeral will be celebrated in Pennsylvania, USA this coming week. Michael is the brother of Rosemary Ferrigan of Chapeau. Please pray for the comfort of his wife, daughter, and siblings. 3) Have you brought your decorations for our Trees of Life yet? These trees are intended to help us remember and celebrate the people and events in our family life. If you have not yet taken some home to personalize and decorate, please do so and return them to the church so that they can be added to the tree in your church. 4) Here are the Christmas Mass times for this year: December 24 5 pm: St. Joseph’s; 7 pm: Chapeau; 9 pm: Sheenboro December 25 10:30 am: Chapeau 5) Confessions will be heard this Saturday in Sheenboro from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. 6) Thank you to all the Christmas Elves who delivered Christmas goodies to 44 shut-ins and seniors in Chapeau and Chichester. Your efforts were greatly appreciated. |
