Notes from Fr. Tim:
1) We are trying to compile a list of email addresses for as many of our parishioners as possible. Email has become the preferred method of communication for many people and we want to be able to take advantage of this fact. To this end, you will find a section at the bottom of this bulletin where you can write down your email address. We ask you please to fill it out, then either slip it into your collection envelope or just drop it into the basket over the next couple of Sundays. I thank you in advance for your cooperation with this initiative.

2) There are a number of parishioners who are or have recently been in the hospital due to complications from the flu, primarily pneumonia, and other heart ailments. Please keep all these individuals in your prayers. If you know of anyone who you would like added to the ‘sick list’ here on the bulletin, please just call the office and we will be happy to add their names so that we can get as many people as possible praying for their recovery.

3) Bible Study continues this Thursday evening at 7 pm in St. Joseph’s.

4) Interested in helping to develop our pastoral planning objectives for all three parishes? Then perhaps you might consider accepting a position on the new Pastoral Council that we are putting together. We will require three parishioners from each parish who will meet two or three times a year to establish and evaluate our pastoral goals and programming. Please consider taking on this challenge so that we can improve our church communities. Thank you.

5) In this same spirit, I am looking for one more person to join the finance committee for St. Alphonsus Parish. The committee meets four times a year to review how we are spending our funds as well as establishing priorities for repairs, improvements, and spending for the parish. Once again, thank you for considering taking on this role.
