|Notes from Fr. Tim:|
|1) Please pray for the repose of soul for Rita Kelly Morin who died this past week. She was the sister of Lorna Conway of St. Joseph’s Parish.
2) Our Bible Study group has finished its latest epistle and will be starting to study a new one next week. This is a perfect opportunity to join the group! We meet each Thursday evening at 7 pm in St. Joseph’s.
3) The Stations of the Cross will be celebrated in Chapeau sacristy chapel this Friday at 7 pm. Please enter via the office door if you wish to join in this Lenten prayer activity. Next Friday it will be in Sheenboro.
4) Someone gave me a list of pithy Christian sayings this past week. I appreciate receiving such items as they can be used in a multitude of different situations. For example, I was struck by these two today: “No God… no peace. Know God… know peace.” and “The tongue weighs practically nothing, but few can hold it.” Words to live by for all of us!
5) The Pivotal Players video series continues this Friday in St. Joseph’s following the 10 am Mass.
6) Bought your ticket for the Sheenboro fundraiser featuring Jim Beattie yet? I believe there are a few still available. Contact Jerry Muldoon if you want some. It promises to be a fun evening’s entertainment!
7) Due to the upcoming School Spring break, the next Catechism class for all grades will be held on Sunday, March 11th.
