|Notes from Fr. Tim:|
|1) Please pray for the repose of soul of Mr. Victor Gagnon, husband of Ruth who passed away this past week. His funeral was held in Chapeau on Friday and his remains were buried in the Nichabeau cemetery.
2) Bible Study continues this week in St. Joseph’s Sacristy on Thursday evening at 7 pm.
3) Hooray! Some of the couples who are getting married this summer have finally contacted me to complete their paperwork. But there are still a few who have yet to connect with me. So, if you know of someone in your extended family who is planning to be married in one of our churches, PLEASE ask them if they have completed this step with me. Thank you.
4) ‘I am the vine. You are the branches.’ This line of scripture captures the essence of our relationship with God since it is only by staying connected to him through a life of grace and prayer that we can produce the fruits he expects of all of us as his disciples. So what have you done lately to ensure that your connection to the ‘vine’ stays healthy and productive?
5) First Confessions and Communion will take place in Chapeau on the weekend of May 19 and 20th. Bishop Mulhall will be coming on Sunday, June 10th to the 10:30 am Mass in Chapeau to celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation.
