|Notes from Fr. Tim:|
|1) Thank you to everyone who delivered rhubarb to me this week. I now have enough stored away in the freezer to keep me satisfied through the winter season.
2) Our sympathy and prayers go out to the families of Miles Venasse and Denis Venne whose funerals were celebrated this past week. Please keep their families in your prayers in the weeks ahead as they come to terms with their sudden deaths.
3) Congratulations to the young men and women who received the sacrament of Confirmation last Sunday in Chapeau. They were: Hannah Adams, Mackenzie Fitzpatrick, Connor Pittuck, and Jacob Jolicoeur.
4) The burial service for Lillian Smiley will take place this Tuesday at 1:30 pm in the New Chapeau Cemetery.
5) Jesus reminds us in today’s gospel that all it takes is a faith as small as a mustard seed to move mountains! Just imagine what we could accomplish if we took this bit of spiritual wisdom to heart. Together we could rebuild our faith communities such that our buildings would be filled to overflowing each Sunday. Let’s all pray for the grace and wisdom we need to make this wish a reality.
6) Remi Vaillancourt of Demers Centre passed away on Thursday morning. Check the parish blog for funeral details.
