Notes from Fr. Tim:
Our Chapeau Parish Supper is soon upon us and it’s time for me to ask people to step up and help in all the traditional ways.

1) First off, I am calling on all of our excellent bakers to get busy and bake up as many pies as possible. These dessert delights are always a popular part of our meal and as a result, many people tend to eat more than just one piece so we will need as many fresh pies as possible. So the more pies the better!

2) Next, we are still in need of more volunteers with the preparation and serving of the meal itself. Workers to help prepare and clean tables, serve tea & coffee on the day of the supper are particularly in short supply. We also need a few more people to help with the peeling and chopping of the vegetables and potatoes on the morning before the supper. If you can help, your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

3) Our condolences and prayers are offered to the family of Mr. Alvin Lepine of Chapeau whose funeral was celebrated this past week.
