|Fr. Tim Notes:|
|1) The weekend we offer the sacrament of Confirmation to 16 young men and women. My thanks to Mr. Frank Trezbiatowski who took on the task of preparing them for this day. Please pray that as they now take up the reins of their |
faith into their own hands they will continue to grow in their knowledge and
love of God and his Church.
2) Congratulations to the children who made their first Confession and Communion last weekend. It was truly an honor to present them each with the gift of God’s forgiveness and the Body of Christ for the first time in their lives. Thank you to Sharon Fitzpatrick for her efforts in preparing them.
3) Today we celebrate the Feast of the Ascension. Let us be reminded that in this rising to heaven Christ brings our human body into the presence of
Almighty God so as to prepare for us a place in His eternal Kingdom. Remember too that Christ has promised that he would return again in glory to bring us
with him if we have lived a life of love and faith. Don’t forget to do what is
necessary this week to be able to join him on that great day.
