Fr. Tim Notes:
1) Congratulations to the sixteen young men and women who received the Sacrament of Confirmation last weekend during the Mass in Chapeau. It was a true honor to be able to confer the sacrament since our diocese is currently without a bishop. Which reminds me. Have you picked up a prayer card to pray for the appointment of our new bishop yet? They are available in all of the churches.

2) I regret to inform you of the death of Mr. Kevin Harrington, husband of Monique Harrington who passed away on Thursday. His funeral arrangements are not yet set with Hayes Funeral Home. The details will be posted on the parish blog at http://www.uppontiacparishes.wordpress.com.

3) Do you regularly check out our parish blog? I often post interesting articles as well as the weekly bulletin there. Make certain to add it to your list of bookmarks and visit often!

4) This weekend we celebrate the great feast of Pentecost when the Church received the gift of the Holy Spirit. You too received the same gift when you were baptized and then again when you were confirmed. So, I guess the question to be asked is: Are you listening to it in your daily life? Put another way, do you ask its guidance whenever you need to make an important decision?
