Fr. Tim Notes:
1) Congratulations to Emmett Sullivan and Jessica Deane who were married in Sheenboro this weekend. Please pray that they will share a long and faith-filled life together.

2) ‘The first shall be last and the last shall be first.’ We hear this famous line in today’s gospel, reminding us all that God does not measure us by earthly standards such as wealth, status, or power. So perhaps today is the time for us to put aside our preoccupations with how the world sees us and reflect upon whether or not we are indeed growing in God’s estimation of our worth.

3) Summer holidays for our schools are quickly coming to an end and students will once again begin classes. Please remember to watch out for those who make their way to school on foot and don’t neglect to stop for buses as they pick up and deliver students to school and home. Our children are our most important gifts. Let’s do all we can to ensure their safety.
