Our sympathy to the families of Andrew Gribbon and Lois Conroy who passed away last week and whose funerals were celebrated in Chapeau. Please remember them in your daily prayers.

We continue to pray for the sick of the parish, particularly Mr. John Lapierre who has been recently hospitalized in Shawville and Mrs. Jackie Martin who is once again in the Pembroke Hospital.

Congratulations to Pauline Godin (parish secretary) upon the safe arrival of her first grandchild, Jaycee. He was born on Monday Nov. 3rd in the Ottawa Hospital to her daughter Natasha. Monday also happened to be Pauline’s birthday!! What a great birthday gift… a grandson! The office will be open according to its regular schedule this week with Pauline’s return to work on Tuesday morning.
