Notes from Fr. Tim:
1) Our summer is passing by amazingly fast and soon we will be facing the time for our annual Parish Suppers in Chapeau and St. Joseph’s Parishes. These are essential fundraising activities that give us the revenues we need to pay for our heat, utility, and insurance bills. Central to the success of these suppers are the parish draws that accompany them. If you have not yet purchased or sold a block of tickets I strongly urge you to do so. Also, we are always in need of volunteers to stage and serve the meals. So if you are willing and able, please let us know so that we can make use of our talents to ensure the success of these important fundraisers. Thank you.

2) As September approaches, we are coming to a time when activities like our Bible Study Classes resume. This year however, before we jump back into the bible, I would propose that we take some time to study together the books written by Pope Benedict XVI on the subject of Jesus. The source book and study materials are very accessible to people and I believe that many would enjoy the course. If you would be interested in learning more about our Lord and Saviour through the eyes and wisdom of one of the most learned scholars on the subject please let me know.
