Marie Rochon (nee Lamarche) of Pembroke and formerly of Waltham QC was the beloved wife of the late Elie Rochon. Loved and cherished mother of David (Rose), Waltham, Anne-Marie (Ron Sivel), Pembroke, Paul (late Hanif), Ottawa, Leo (former organist in St. Joseph’s QC) (Marion), Pembroke, Joe (Lucie), Shawville QC and Elaine (Parish organist in Sheenboro, QC), Pembroke. Loving grandmother to Jason, Derek (Robin), Tyler (Megan), Elissa (Ben Wilkinson), Rebecca, Megan, Brandon, Maria, Gabrielle and Anna and four great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Annette Roy (Emery) and dear friend of Lorena Lance. Predeceased by her parents William Lamarche and Virginia Marchand, her brother Laurier (late Lillian), and sisters Theresa Marino (late Lawrence), Rita Lachance (late Armedose), Yvonne Dupuis (late Albert) , Patricia Leblanc (late Larry) and Georgette Kelly. Sister-in-law of Clayton Kelly and Leona Rochon. Cherished and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews, especially Betty whom she helped raise from a young age. Marie loved life and she lived it to the fullest. She was a generous and kind woman to everyone that she met. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marie with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning April 11 at 11o’clock in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Waltham QC.
